The Farnham population and the Farnham Society are regularly accused of not “embracing growth”  and wishing to see the town “preserved in aspic”. This brief overview of some key events since 1801 shows that Farnham has embraced very significant growth, but in a sustainable way.

  1. Anyone that tries to drive in or out of Farnham during the morning or evening “rush hour” will experience the usual traffic grid-lock and quickly come to the conclusion that the town does not need more “growth” thank you very much!
