The Farnham Society Rules

Status.

A registered charity which is regulated by the Charity Commissioners.

Purpose.

To promote high standards of planning and architecture, improve the general environment and provide relevant information at public meetings, published articles, leaflets and social media.

The Committee.

To consist of:

  • A President and not more than three Vice Presidents.
  • A Chairman and not more than two Vice Chairman. A Treasurer and a Secretary.
  • In addition, not less than four and not more than twelve Committee Members.

Annual General Meeting.

To be held in September each year, or as soon after as deemed possible by the Committee.

Accounting.

The financial year ends on the 31st. March and audited accounts will be published on the Society’s website and will also be available at the Annual General Meeting.
