Natural England proposes (21 November 2025) to extend the Surrey Hills Area of Natural Beauty (AONB).

The boundary of the AONB changes in a number of places. There are several proposed alterations close to Farnham, incorporating some new districts. Maps are taken from the GOV.UK website page referenced above.
The areas shaded dark red are the existing AONB, the lighter shaded areas are the proposed additions.
