The existing Premier Inn Hotel, on Guildford Road, comprises a 3 storey building with rooms for visitors, plus an adjacent block, mostly single storey, occupied by a Beefeater Restaurant.

We do not have an issue with the principle of enlarging the hotel, but we are concerned about the size of the proposed new building and its impact upon the character of the area.
