Waverley Borough Council, as part of the preparation of a new Local Plan, has produced an Issues and Options document. This is the first formal stage of public consultation. The document sets out key planning issues facing the borough, including
- Housing allocation
- Protection of countryside
- The future of towns and villages
- Climate change and sustainability
- Transport
- Jobs, business and the economy
- Schools, healthcare and community facilities.
You are invited to comment on the issues and potential options to address them. Your feedback will help shape the Preferred Options version of the new Local Plan (the next stage in the process).
Consultation dates: Monday 27 October 2025 to 11.59pm on Monday 8 December 2025
