The William Cobbett Society will hold their 2025 Rural Ride on Friday 4 July.
The Rural Ride is an annual event, in the form of a coach trip following some of the routes which Cobbett took on his Rural Rides in the 1820s. This year, the Ride will go to Kingston Lacy, a National Trust house and estate near Wimborne in Dorset.

The coach will pick up from The Hart at 09:45 and from Sainsbury, Water Lane at 10:00, returning to Farnham at about 17:30.
Cost is £20 per person, this does NOT include admission to  Kingston Lacy. If you are a National Trust member, bring your card, for non NT members there will be an admission charge.
To reserve places on the Ride, contact Robert Sykes of the William Cobbett Society at robasykes@yahoo.co.uk (and please copy stewartdedge@hotmail.co.uk). Booking closes on 30 June.
Please note, if you want to join the coach at Sainsbury Water Lane, there is car parking available but you will need to give your car registration number when booking.
