Self Sufficiency today and Cobbett’s Cottage Economy
Retired BBC journalist Max Cotton took inspiration from William Cobbett’s Cottage Economy and spent a year living off food from his smallholding. This formed the basis of a Radio 4 series, and Max will speak about his experiences in the 2025 Cobbett Memorial Lecture.
